"too noisy"

The place is too noisy - not due to the fact that it is overlooking the Heathrow airport runway but due to no insulation whatsoever between the walls and 2 floors plus the doors are the squeakiest doors I have ever come across anywhere ! I stayed there for 3 nights and asked the staff to do something about the doors on the first day but in spite of their promise nothing was done during my stay. All it takes is a special oil and 15 minutes work to save the tired guests from continuous noise throughout the night as the guests come and leave at anytime day and night. If you decide to book this place because of the price, make sure you ask for a room on the first floor to save yourself from the noise coming from upstairs. I don't think I would stay here ever again. The staff is friendly and helpful but it is obvious that the manager just doesn't care for proper maintenance of the property.

I stayed one night only at Heathrow Lodge before flying out to San Francisco.This is the 3rd
time I have used this Lodge. It is basic, clean and convenient. The price is very reasonable
and the free shuttle is GREAT!!! I visit England about once a year and will book again.
I felt very safe as a single person travelling alone. I also liked the fact that it is very
CLOSE to the Heathrow Airport. Also, there are two pubs very close that offer decent
