I loved this hotel. The shared accomodation is nice and clean, big locker for the luggage. The common areas are very nice also. The breakfeast is very good. Plus its very clean! I recommend it!

Comments (English):
The overall rating of the hostel is good and most of the staff is very helpful, for instance they let you use their telephone for free to solve problems like i had with the flight company LAN.
There are also some less good points to mention :
- the real name of the hostel is 'The Princesa Insolente Hostel' which can be confusing if you arrive in Santiago and ask a taxidriver to take you to Luz Azul hostel
- booking via the Internet does not always guarantee the right room.
- some rooms suffer from noise at the entrance and reception

Sólo estuvimos una noche en el hostal luz azul, ahora llamado Princesa insolente. El hostal tiene un ambiente muy acogedor, está limpio y la decoración es bonita. Lleva a confusión el cambio de nombre ya que las reservas todavía pueden hacerse a nombre del hostal Luz Azul. Deberían eliminar la página web. Por otro lado, teníamos que coger un vuelo muy temprano y solicitamos poder tomar el desayuno media hora antes del horario oficial. En recepción nos aseguraron que no había problema y por la mañana no había nadie y el desayuno no estaba listo. Pagamos por el desayuno y nos fuimos sin desayunar. Un detalle muy feo.

A good spot to settle for a few days in the city. Small hostel with a real comfy vibe and fun staff. Ammeneties are good. Close to whatever you need.

I did a reservation, and even when I called 1 day before my arrival saying that I'll cannot reach in city on time and asking for cancel the reservation, Im beeing charged for the full reservation and for the entire week, for me it's like stealing you.

Luz Azul Hostel is in a perfect location, really close to the subway
Dorms rooms are really nice and secure.
Great outside area and nice Kitchen!
Breakfast is fine.
Really Helpful friendly staff and the hostel is really secure.

I really like staying here. Everybody looks for different things in a hostel. This hostel had friendly staff, which is not always easy to find, a great kitchen, amazing beds and it's clean and spacious! Really nice.

I visited twice Luz Azul Hostel in August. We rent a private room at the begining of august ant at the end of the same month.* The room was perfect exept that we didn't receive towelsbiggest problem was that a group of brasilian drank and yell untll 3 am . The man in charge did nothing at all !
We slept badly,ver y badly. How is it possible that a Hostel accept that fact,The main goal in a Hostel is to rest isn't it ?
