This is a very nice place to stay. The rooms are pleasant and they have a fully staffed kitchen so that you are able to prepare your own meals as food (and everything else!) in London is expensive. The staff is very nice and helpful. The hostel is located within a good walking distance of the Alexandra Palace if you happen to be attending any of the conferences or shows there. I liked the Forest Hotel so much I plan on staying there again this year! ( It's also convience to public transportation)

Well the place was clean and the girl who welcomed us was really nice and charming. You got everthing you need around (from restaurants to banks).
It was cool to find our little peaceful room when we were coming back from the tiring London. I appreciated the fridge for the fresh water of course.
But to be honest, it's a little bit far from the centre so you should take the tube even if it's more expensive than the bus.

For the tourist part, i won't be objective I love London, the people, shops, clubs,...
But you must go to the British museum, Tate modern and avoid Tussaud. Go to Camden town and Hampstead. Both are totally different but i like those places.
And don't miss Portobello market and the carnival if you're there by the end of august.
For the clubbers, the Fabric of course and the End. Don't be shy to try little clubs. For music fans, you can go to gigs every night if you want for cheap maybe you'll meeet the new clash or arctic monkeys...

be free to contact me if you want more informations or good places to go.
