"Noisy bar next to hotel played loud music early in the morning"

My wife and I stayed at the Posada Dona Louisa for 5 nights. The rooms were OK, the staff was helpful and the location was convenient to the central city. However, I would not recommend the hotel because the current business next to the hotel played very loud, repetitious music from 1:30 to 3 a.m. all but the first night. The hotel rooms are not very sound insulated. We moved from the second to the first floor, which helped some but it was still to loud. The hotel staff called the police, but the police did not make the music stop. The location is rated as a 1 since it was next to the noisy bar.

Nos alojamos tres noches en Posada Doña Luisa.
Hicimos la reserva desde su misma página por Internet, donde nos indicaban el precio con impuestos incluidos y nos pedían una reserva de algo más de 22 dólares. Al llegar allí, de la reserva no sabían nada y al precio total había que añadirle 22% de impuestos.
En resumen, relación calidad-precio muy mal, por casi 60 dólares por noche se pueden encontrar un montón de hoteles y posadas mejores.

Would only recommend this hotel to backpackers on a budget. It is very basic to say the least and the noise from the bar next door gave us a sleepless night. We checked out a night early and found somewhere else..

Las fotos de las habitaciones, no dan constancia de como realmente son las habitaciones, muy pequeñas y las camas con colchones y somieres desastrosos y no hablemos de la ducha pues da miedo meterte por peligro a quedar elocutrado.

Por el precio de esta posada tienes muchas opciones cercanas de mejor calidad.
La habitación tiene poca luz y es poco acogedora.
Para llegar al baño tienes que subir tres peligrosos escalones y sus instalaciones deberían renovarse.
El patio está cubierto por una horrible techado te plástico.
El precio en quetzales por noche no se corresponde al precio que aparece en la reserva, pues te hacen su propio cambio de dólares a quetzales.
